Wrap skirt

There are always a few embarrassing moments in a persons life, usually from their childhood, that a person can never forget. I had a few of these, and one that sticks out from my younger days involves a wrap skirt. I had put it on to go to Sunday School, and though I wasnt sure how to do it right, my mom told me it was okay, and we went to church as was our tradition each week. I guess I didnt realize at that point that knots are never as sturdy as you think they are, and such a skirt should be readjusted every so often.

I made it through most of the day just fine, and I really didnt think about my wrap skirt much. I have never really been overly concerned with my clothing, though I always do like to look nice. As young as I was though, I was more concerned about talking with friends and taking part in the lessons. At the end of the day we sang together and then left to go home. After we were done signing, I stood up, but my wrap skirt did not.

I didnt realize that I had lost my wrap skirt has come undone until I had taken a few steps from my seat. I suddenly felt a little chilly, but had no idea why. I looked down and I wasnt wearing anything on the bottom but my undies and my nylons. I froze when I realized I had lost my wrap skirt, and that I honestly wasnt sure when it happened. I looked back and it was on my seat. I got it back on as fast as I could, but I never wore it after that and will not wear one to this day. No one really laughed, but it was humiliating to me none the less.

Even though I dont wear them anymore, there are some great ones out there, and I can see why some many love them. A great wrap skirt can look really good, and there are many terrific styles that come up all of the time. You can find a wrap skirt in a lovely but casual style, or you can find some that go great with evening wear. They are also great for the beach when you want something to go over your suit when you are done going into the water. Dont let my experience make you think twice, just remember to double check that your skirt is secure a few times throughout the day.
