In a traditional environment, you have to take your classes as per a set schedule. You get late and you miss out on the class entirely. With an online education, you decide when you want to take you classes, and even if you do miss a class, you can always, take them up again, load them up, as it were and just find yourself in the classroom. Online classes also have the benefit of allowing students more interaction with others who would otherwise not be available in a traditional classroom setting. Consider for example, the interaction that would exist between a student from London, another from Tokyo and another from Washington. They can share ideas, exchange experiences and work together on their projects. Would you imagine such as scenario in a traditional classroom setting?
