Book Fun San Francisco Tours Online
I’ll be heading to northern California for a short vacation soon, so I’m trying to plan out an itinerary. I’ll be flying into SF International Airport and renting a car to get around, but beyond that I haven’t decided what I’m going to do. There’s so much going on in the city that I might end up booking one of those comprehensive San Francisco tours to make sure that I can fit as much in as possible.
I’ve been looking at a couple of companies that provide San Francisco tours, and they seem to offer decent bargains. I want to hit the biggest tourist destinations, including the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, Fisherman’s Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, Pier 39, and places like that. I could probably cover all that ground on my own, especially since I’ll have a car, but if I hook up with one of these official San Francisco tours, then I won’t have to worry about getting lost or paying for parking. I think it would just be more comfortable and efficient to see the city as part of a tour group than by myself.
Some of the San Francisco tours I’ve checked out offer a full menu of set itineraries that customers can choose from. For example, there are half-day excursions that cover certain areas of the city, such as the oceanfront and Alcatraz or the downtown area and shopping districts. There are also full-day San Francisco tours that are far more extensive and even include cruises on the bay and meals at famous restaurants, which sounds terrific!
But I have to say that the fully customizable San Francisco tours are probably going to be my best bet. Companies that offer this option allow customers to choose exactly which sights they want to see and what activities they want to do. Under these plans, I can take see the city on a double decker bus, take a ferry to Sausalito, catch a 49ers or Giants game, visit the Haight-Ashbury district, and do whatever else my heart desires. Of course, this kind of tour is far more expensive than the pre-programmed variety, but I think it would be worth every penny to be able to see the city my way.
Whatever I decide, it’s good to know that I can book any of these San Francisco tours online before I leave. It’ll be nice to get on the airplane knowing exactly what I’ll do once I land and not have to scramble to make last-minute arrangements or buy tickets to attractions. Plus, by booking online, I can get discount prices on almost everything I want to do, so that’s just another incentive to make arrangements this way. I have a feeling this is going to be a very memorable vacation after all!
